Pitha is a type of rice cake which can be savored with sweet as well as salty taste .
Its origin is mainly from the Eastern Indian states of Bihar, Jharkhand,Odisha & West Bengal.
Fara is a traditional dish from the cuisine of India.
It is known with different names in different regions of India .It can be made with either wheat flour or rice flour with fillings of chana dal / jaggery/coconut.
Its very healthy as its cooking process is either by steaming or boiling .it can also be stir fried with some curry leaves who make it little crispy and can be served with green coriander chutney or mustered seeds chutney.
